Cigarette cases
Cigarette cases
Whilst cigarette cases have long been regarded as a smoker’s essential accessory amongst the more affluent sections of society, they are also becoming increasingly popular amongst the general public. When it comes to cigarette cases, a distinction must be made between those designed solely for individual cigarettes and those intended to hold an entire packet. Another difference lies in the size or length of the cigarettes. Cigarette cases are particularly popular with people who roll or stuff their own cigarettes. This allows them to store and carry ready-made cigarettes. This proves to be a great help in everyday life, as there isn’t always time to roll them. If you were to stuff your own cigarettes, you’d have to carry this little helper with you at all times, which is also impractical. Depending on your smoking habits, larger or smaller cases are available, offering sufficient space.
Plastic or metal pack
cases allow you to store shop-bought packets. The materials used vary considerably. As well as plastic, metal and thick fabrics are available, although the latter retain their shape thanks to a plastic lining. There’s no need to compromise on colour, as an attractive appearance has been a priority for all models. To appeal to all age groups, neutral colours are just as important. This also applies to the classic cases, which are made from metal or plastic. The cigarettes can be secured to the base and lid using an elastic band.
The closure as a protective mechanism:
The closures on the individual models are usually very similar. In the case of cigarette-pack cases, a direct fastening is not necessary, as both the lid of the packet and that of the case provide sufficient protection. Otherwise, the fastening may take the form of a clip, a small flap or magnets. The durability of the fastening is a key indicator of quality. This should be evident both visually and over the years that the cigarette case brings pleasure to its owner. For this reason, cigarette cases make ideal gifts for all occasions.
