Cigarette tubes
Cigarette tubes are the same size and made of the same material as cigarette papers. The requirements for this specialised paper should not be underestimated under any circumstances. The full flavour of the tobacco can only be enjoyed if the paper is odourless and tasteless. Cigarette tubes, just like factory-made cigarettes, must comply with the new regulations. Since 2011, these have stipulated that a cigarette must go out if it comes to rest on a surface or is lying on one. This is intended to minimise the fire risks posed by a burning cigarette. However, there is no requirement for a cigarette to go out if it is held in the air and no puffs are taken for a prolonged period. These regulations apply to all cigarette papers, tubes and ready-made cigarettes sold in Europe, regardless of their country of origin.
